About Us
Dr. Kazem and Jenan Baker founded Dr. Kazem Dentistry in 1998, off of Venice Blvd in the heart of West Los Angeles. Their mission was to bring quality dental services to a diverse community. They dedicated their careers to building a friendly, approachable practice where patients could feel a deep connection to their dental providers through an intense dedication to honesty, care, and mutual understanding.
In 2012, Dr. Kazem Dentistry moved to a brand new location in Culver City. The new facility allowed the team to deliver the same level of care with state of the art technology. Over the years, patients and families have supported and uplifted the practice. It is Dr. Kazem’s continued commitment to cultivate community through good dental care in a compassionate, stress-free setting.
In the present day, the team at Dr. Kazem has grown with multiple providers who embody the same mission. Patients can find the same quality of care whether it's their first visit or their routine check up.
Dr. Kazem Baker
DDS, General Dentist
Dr. Kazem Baker has over 45 years of expansive experience in family dentistry. In 1993, he completed an Advanced Periodontics Preceptorship Program from UCLA. There, he participated in one of the first institutions researching and developing dental implants. After honing his vast knowledge of dentistry, he opened Family Dental Center on Venice Boulevard in 1998. He served the West LA community at that location for 13 years, developing a signature gentle touch. In 2012, he completed a Global Dental Implant Academy program – furthering his skillset through live surgeries and academic lectures. Since 2012, he and his team of dentists have been operating at Dr. Kazem Dentistry’s current location on Washington Blvd – a beloved fixture to a wide community of patients.
Dr. Hani Tajsar
DMD, MPH, General Dentist
Dr. Hani Tajsar is a Los Angeles raised dentist committed to expanding access to dental care in the greater Los Angeles community. After graduating from Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2022, Dr. Tajsar became a member of the Global Dental Implant Academy – actively participating in live implant and reconstructive training programs. In 2017, Dr. Hani earned his Master of Public Health degree from Charles R. Drew University, graduating with the Dr. Charles W. Buggs Award for Achieving Academic Excellence. Through his experience as both a dental and public health professional, Dr. Hani understands the importance of connecting dental health with overall wellness. He brings that expertise to every patient interaction through education, honesty, and detailed clinical care.
Dr. Jacklyn Ibrahim
DDS, MA, General Dentist
Dr. Jacklyn Ibrahim is a general dentist with over 10 years of experience in the dental field. In 2018, she graduated from Loma Linda University with both a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Bioethics degree. She completed a residency at Gardner Family Health Network in San Jose, serving the community by providing care to low-income and homeless patients. She also has extensive experience providing at-home dental care to medically complex, elderly, and immobile patients. Dr. Ibrahim has a proven track record of ethical and gentle care that she continues to bring to Dr. Kazem Dentistry.
